VOUCHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Voucher Validity
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The session must be booked and completed within the voucher validity period.
We recommend getting in touch well in advance, particularly if you would like a weekend appointment or a specific date.
Booking Your Session
Session dates are arranged individually and are subject to the photographer’s availability.
Holding a voucher does not guarantee availability on a particular date or at a specific time.
A booking is confirmed once the date, time and location have been agreed.
The voucher does not guarantee availability at a specific location. Some locations may be subject to access restrictions, permits, photography fees or other conditions outside the photographer’s control.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
A session may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge provided the photographer is notified at least 48 hours before the agreed session start time.
Cancellations or requests to reschedule made less than 48 hours before the session, as well as failure to attend the booked session without prior notice, may result in the voucher being treated as redeemed and no longer available for another booking.
This is because the appointment has been reserved exclusively for the client and, at such short notice, it may not be possible to offer the reserved time to another customer.
Where appropriate, any cancellation charge or loss of voucher value will reflect the photographer’s reasonable losses arising from the late cancellation, including reserved working time and any non-refundable costs already incurred.
Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually at the photographer’s discretion.
If the photographer needs to reschedule the session, or if weather conditions make an agreed outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, the voucher will remain fully valid and an alternative date will be arranged.
Late Arrival
The session time begins at the previously agreed start time.
Late arrival may reduce the amount of photography time available, particularly if the photographer has another commitment afterwards or if a hired studio or location is only available until a fixed time.
Late arrival does not automatically extend the session.
Location
The voucher includes a photography session in London at an agreed outdoor location or at the client’s home.
For locations requiring significant additional travel, a travel fee may apply. Any additional travel costs will always be agreed before the booking is confirmed.
If photography at the chosen location requires a permit, entry ticket, photography fee or any other location-related charge, this is not included in the voucher price unless agreed otherwise in advance.
Studio Hire
Studio hire is not included in the price of any voucher package.
If the voucher holder chooses a studio session, the studio hire cost will be quoted and agreed before
the booking is confirmed.
Any non-refundable studio or location hire fees paid on the client’s behalf may remain payable if the session is cancelled or rescheduled after those costs have been incurred.
Weather
Weather conditions may affect outdoor sessions.
If the weather makes it unsafe or unsuitable to carry out the session, the booking may be moved to another available date at no additional charge.
Any decision to reschedule because of weather will be made as close to the session date as reasonably possible, when the forecast is more reliable.
Image Selection & Retouching
Following the session, the client will receive a private online gallery from which to select the photographs they would like professionally retouched.
The number of final retouched images included depends on the package purchased.
Selected images are professionally edited and retouched in the photographer’s signature style as shown in the portfolio.
Unedited RAW files are not provided.
Delivery Time
Final retouched images are delivered digitally once the client has completed their selection from the gallery.
The estimated turnaround time will be provided at the time of booking or following the session and may vary depending on the season and current workload.
Type of Session
Gift vouchers are intended for private photography sessions, including:
individual portraits, lifestyle sessions, couple sessions, maternity sessions and family photography.
The voucher does not cover commercial photography, advertising campaigns, product photography, events, weddings or the use of images for business, promotional or advertising purposes unless agreed separately in advance.
Number of Participants
The session must be suitable for the duration and type of package purchased.
For larger family groups or sessions involving a greater number of participants, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether the chosen package is suitable.
Additional time or a different package may be recommended for larger groups.
Publication of Images
Photographs taken during the session will not be used in the photographer’s portfolio, website or social media without obtaining the appropriate client consent where such consent is required.
Permission to publish images is separate from the purchase or use of the voucher.
Transferring a Voucher
A voucher may be gifted to another person.
It cannot be exchanged for cash or commercially resold.
Lost Vouchers
Each voucher has its own unique voucher number.
If a voucher is lost, please contact us. Where the original purchase can be verified through the order records, the voucher may still be honoured.
Refunds & Consumer Rights
Purchasing a voucher does not affect any statutory consumer rights provided under applicable UK law.
Where a voucher is purchased online or through another form of distance selling, the purchaser may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period, where applicable under UK consumer law.
Any statutory right to cancel or receive a refund will be honoured in accordance with applicable legislation.
Once a voucher has been redeemed or the photography service has been provided, refunds are not available except where the customer has specific statutory rights.
Cancellation by the Photographer
If the photographer is unable to carry out the session because of illness, an emergency or other circumstances beyond their control, an alternative date will be offered.
The voucher will remain valid and the client will not lose the value of the booking as a result of cancellation by the photographer.
If providing the service becomes impossible, the customer’s applicable statutory consumer rights will apply.
Sending the Voucher as a Gift
When placing your order, you can choose where you would like the voucher to be sent.
We can send it:
directly to the gift recipient
or
to you, so you can give it to them personally.
Every voucher is carefully prepared, beautifully packaged and posted in an elegant presentation, ready to be given as a gift as soon as it arrives.
